Our NEW MOT Centre is now open While-U-Wait or by appointment, just call 01223 654 500. If your car is over three years old, it will require an annual MOT inspection. The MOT test is a standard inspection of over 150 safety-related and emission systems, including lights, steering, brakes and suspension.
The MOT looks at some important items on your car to see that they meet key legal requirements at the time of test and these include : the body and vehicle structure, fuel system, exhaust emissions, exhaust system, seat belts, seats, doors, mirrors, brakes, tyres and wheels, lights, bonnet, wipers and washers, windscreen, horn, steering and suspension.

We have a designated ATL MOT test bay where we conduct the tests for Class 4 cars and vans under 3000kg, using a range of equipment that meets the required specification for MOT testing.
If your vehicle has failed the test, you’ll be given a failure document with reference to the failure.
You can watch the test from a designated viewing area but you are not allowed to interrupt the tester whilst he is working.
All MOT testers have been on a training course with the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA) and their test results are checked regularly.
